Founded in 2019, Earth Maggie Co is a consciously curated vintage fashion and goods shop. Over the five-year span of Earth Maggie Co, one of the most commonly asked questions I get is how I pick my inventory out of the haystack of all second-hand clothing.

Over the past five years, I have learned about what is rare and valuable in vintage, but like the fashion industry at large, vintage is not impermeable to the whims of trends. I have found the best way to create a cohesive and complimentary curation is to listen to my stylistic instincts.

Thus, my eye and personal style drive much of my curation. I grew up going to estate sales with my mom, so much of my taste is informed by the material environment my mother created in our home. It was an environment of texture and layers— bird nests balanced upon the frames of oil paintings, stacks of tiny bibles and books we never read, thin-worn hand-knotted Persian rugs, Scandinavian design accents (because we are 8% 100% Swedish), and other unique objects that surprised anyone in the way they complimented each other.
